 Good evening We are preparing your coming in France. I can not give the program yet because we have a young tournament on Saturday the 16th. Some people have not answered but we won’t get to 10 anyway. It is not because our members don’t want you to come but it seems that it is not the good day. I asked the Partnerschaft Committee for help but some of the members will be in Oberursel for the “Brunnenfest” ! Last but not least I have to find another place for the chess tournament because there are no tables and chairs available in our room because of the European Elections of the 7th. I don’t know what is your current situation: do you intend to come by car or train ? If by train, have you already the tickets ? Depending your answer I wonder if, in these conditions, it wouldn’t be better to postpone (not cancel) your coming in France for better days. we understand your situation completely and have no
problem to postpone the visit.
Under these circumstances it is surely better. We
did not get tickets
for the railroad - they were already sold out - and
planned to travel by car.
When we know the new date early, we will be able to
buy railroad tickets
in advance for a lower price. To travel by train
gives in my eyes more sense,
because there will be some kids in the travelling
group and they are not used
to stay in a car for a long time.
We would be thankful, if we get to know the new
date early.
